Delved deep into CNT “Cold Cathode” X-ray Tubes
To further enhance the efficiency of X-rays generating, NuRay team adopted a unique CNT cathode fabrication process to develop “ultra-pure, few-walled” carbon nanotubes. CNT “Cold Cathode” technology offers significant technical advantages, including room temperature electron emission, high-current pulsed operation, stable and repeatable beam output, and long-term stable operation.
Global Leading Multi-Beam Technology
NuRay’s multi-beam technology allows for the high-density arrangement of hundreds of focal spots within a single vacuum chamber. High-density focal spots arrangement can significantly enhance the angular image information during scanning process, enable the system to acquire richer and more complete spatial structure information at all angles. Additionally, each focal spot can operate independently and rapidly under software control. This innovative technology revolutionizes the operation of the X-ray source in 3D imaging applications, truly realizing fast static imaging with multi-angle perspective in space. It overcomes the various performance limitations associated with traditional 3D imaging that requires mechanical movement of the X-ray source.
From Multi-Beam X-ray Tubes to Static 3D Imaging
CNT “Cold Cathode” technology is the foundation for developing multi-beam X-ray tubes, which are crucial for achieving static 3D imaging. Unlike traditional CT devices that scan by rapidly rotating a large and heavy X-ray tube, in a static CT system, multi-beam X-ray tubes can achieve sequential emission of X-rays from multiple angles by the arrangement of source array. This allows for capturing multiple angle images without mechanical movement, and 3D imaging is achieved through algorithms, delivering unprecedented imaging performance.
